Verathon Announces the Appointment of Tim Shauf as Vice President & General Manager, Respiratory and Surgical Solutions
May 22, 2014 (Bothell, WA) – Verathon® Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of imaging and respiratory medical device solutions, today announced the appointment of Tim Shauf as Vice President and General Manager for the company’s Respiratory & Surgical Solutions business group.
Tim has an accomplished 19-year record of building global revenue and market share across the medical device, bio-tech, and pharmaceutical industries.
With previous leadership roles at Covidien, Gilead Sciences, and GlaxoSmithKline, Tim has demonstrated expertise in developing new products and entering new markets, as well as accelerating growth for existing products.
He is responsible for the Verathon product portfolio that includes GlideScope® video laryngoscopes, which offer improved maneuverability and working space for routine and difficult airways.
Tim holds an MBA degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a BA degree from Wake Forest University.
