Curiosity and passion are at the heart of innovation. We win by understanding our customers, challenging the status quo, and continuously driving to find unique opportunities to serve our clinicians and their patients better.

As Vice President and General Manager of Endoscopy, Moira is passionate about our customers and the role Verathon plays in optimizing patient care. Moira leads a team of highly talented individuals in creating the growth strategy for Verathon’s Endoscopy business. This includes identifying strategic market opportunities that Verathon is uniquely poised to capitalize on, working with our engineering team to create differentiated products that fulfill unmet needs, and driving the performance and financial health of our endoscopy portfolio.

Moira has more than 20 years of strategy and marketing experience. She began her career as a consultant in Deloitte Consulting’s market and consumer strategy division before joining the medical technology industry. She has since taken on marketing leadership roles of increasing responsibility in several medical device companies, including Medtronic, Stryker, and Verathon. Moira holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Washington State University and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

What do you enjoy the most about being part of the Verathon team?

Our culture of winning together. We have a team of exceptional people who look out for and support one another. We know that when we work together, our diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and ideas make us stronger. Together we bring outstanding, industry leading products to market and help our customers improve patient care.

What are you most excited about for Verathon’s future?

Healthcare has changed so much with COVID. Hospitals continue to deal with infection control concerns and are increasingly facing staffing shortages. Single-use products address these critical issues by making endoscopy safer and more efficient. As a leading provider of single-use bronchoscopes and video laryngoscopes, we are helping to optimize care around the world and in our local communities. Our future ahead is even brighter. We now have the foundational technologies and infrastructure to move into additional high growth endoscopy segments and win. I am incredibly proud of the products and company we are building.

How would you describe the perfect weekend?

A perfect weekend means spending time with my family, including my husband Brian and my two daughters. A typical fall day includes watching my youngest daughter, Avery, play soccer and my oldest daughter, Mackenzie, cheer. If we’re lucky, we might also sneak in a hike, go kayaking at my family's lake cabin in the Cascades, or catch an OL Reign game at Lumen Field.
