As the Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Information Technology, Fredrik has a passion for delivering the right customers experiences, both internally and externally. In his role, he is responsible for creating and accelerating Verathon’s brand equity, marketing strategy, IT roadmap and digital capabilities. What inspires him every day is contributing to the Verathon mission of delivering innovative and specialized medical solutions that empower healthcare providers to improve and extend patients’ lives.

Fredrik spent over two decades in various marketing, digital transformation, and general management roles across multiple industries before joining Verathon in 2020. He began his career at the display provider Planar Systems where he rotated across multiple roles and regions before moving to the eCommerce consumer marketing group at AT&T Wireless. Fredrik has since held various strategic leadership positions with both Danaher and Fortive, as well as Intermec Technologies and Honeywell. He has earned bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and General Management from Hawai’i Pacific University and an MBA from Willamette University’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management.

What do you enjoy the most about being part of the Verathon team?

First and foremost, I enjoy the people and the people-oriented culture we have. There is a lot of talent across the organization and with our culture built on our Verathon 7 core values, it empowers all of us to truly live those values while making a real impact every day.
 

What are you most excited about for Verathon’s future?

The possibilities ahead of us is what some would call a “once in a career” opportunity. We are participating and leading the way in an amazing MedTech transformation from reusable to single-use endoscopes. This fantastic and envious position we are in allow us to aim high, rapidly grow and take our business in new directions. I am thrilled to be part of this technology wave as it ultimately will improve the outcome for thousands of patients that our customers serve.
 

How would you describe the perfect weekend?

I live in Bozeman, Montana so anything outdoors with my family is how I would like to spend a weekend. In the winter, we try to hit the slopes at Big Sky. In the summer, we go camping, hiking and flyfishing whenever we can. Living in the last best place is truly a blessing.
