Leading the EMEA commercial organization at Verathon, I am responsible for driving growth across both our direct markets and our distributor partnerships. I strongly believe in empowering local teams and placing responsibility close to our customers, where real impact happens. Staying connected to the voice of the user is essential, their feedback fuels our innovation and helps us continuously improve. By aligning execution with market needs, we ensure we serve our customers better tomorrow than we did yesterday.
With over 20 years of experience in the med-tech industry, I have held various sales, marketing, and leadership roles across the Netherlands and multiple European markets. My career includes working with leading organizations such as Bayer and Olympus, always with a strong focus on growth, customer centricity, and team development. I am passionate about building high-performing teams, creating clarity in execution, and translating strategy into measurable results that improve both patient outcomes and business performance.
What do you enjoy the most about being part of the Verathon team?
What I value most about Verathon is the strong culture of alignment and shared purpose. Everyone clearly understands the goals we are working towards, and each department contributes in its own way. That collective focus creates energy, ownership, and accountability. This dedication not only drives growth but also strengthens collaboration across the organization. What are you most excited about for Verathon’s future?
Verathon’s focus on Airway and Urology has already transformed patient care around the world. The innovation currently in the pipeline will further elevate clinical outcomes and strengthen our competitive advantage. Continuous improvement is embedded in our DNA, and that mindset will keep us at the forefront of medical technology. Being part of this technology wave, and knowing it will positively impact thousands of patients is incredibly motivating.
How would you describe the perfect weekend?
My perfect weekend starts with a relaxed long breakfast with my wife and two daughters. I enjoy watching my youngest play hockey and seeing my oldest go horseback riding. In the evening, I like to stay active by playing padel with friends. Spending quality time with family, being outdoors, and enjoying sports creates the right balance after a busy week.
