• Verathon Announces the Appointment of Daniel E. Estay As President of Verathon, Inc.

    September 30, 2013 (Bothell, WA) – Verathon® Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of imaging and respiratory medical device solutions, today announced the appointment of Daniel (Dan) E. Estay as President of Verathon, Inc.

    With over 26 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Dan has driven significant growth for world-class organizations, where he has served in diverse roles from general management and strategic planning to corporate and business development.

    Prior to joining Verathon, Dan was with Abbott Laboratories for 11 years and held leadership positions in the areas of general management, strategic planning and business development.  In his most recent role, Dan was based in Tokyo, Japan for 6 years and responsible for Abbott’s vascular care business in Asia Pacific & Japan.

    Dan is a highly versatile senior executive with a track record of successfully building and managing health care businesses.  He has a deep understanding of U.S. and international markets, and diverse health care industry knowledge, with 20 years of experience in medical devices.
