I believe in building a company culture with openness, accountability, and integrity and working with a team that makes every day count for our customers and their patients.

As the leader of the Imaging Business Unit, Jamie has a passion for developing and marketing products that deliver significant clinical value to our customers and their patients. He joined Verathon because of the organizational culture that was being built based on Verathon’s 7 key values and his belief that he could contribute not only to building this culture but also in identifying and implementing new growth opportunities for the ISS business.

Jamie has spent over two decades in the medical device industry, where he has held executive positions and senior roles at Leica Microsystems (a Danaher Company), Philips Healthcare, and General Electric Healthcare (GE). Prior to joining Verathon, Jamie was the GM of Americas Medical for Leica. Previous to this, he was the Vice President and General Manager for the Advanced Molecular Imaging business for Philips and during his 19 years at GE he held positions in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Product Management.  Jamie earned his BSEE from Queen’s University in Canada.

What do you enjoy the most about being part of the Verathon team?

I want to work for a company that doesn’t just hang their values on the wall but instead embraces and lives them each and every day. That is what we do at Verathon. I also value the opportunity to work with a group of very talented and passionate people. We all have an opportunity to learn from each other and make a difference.

What are you most excited about for Verathon’s future?

Growth, growth, growth. We have tremendous growth opportunities across our businesses and being part of that is really exciting and motivating.

How would you describe the perfect weekend?

Spending time with my family and going on adventures…jumping on our bikes, playing a round of golf, exploring the Pacific Northwest, traveling to new places and seeing new things.
