The GlideScope Direct Intubation trainer is designed to facilitate instruction of classic direct laryngoscopy (DL).
The reusable and single-use Direct has the look and feel of a standard Macintosh blade, but incorporates GlideScope AVL video technology - a digital video camera near the end of the blade - to allow instructors to watch and guide a direct laryngoscopic intubation as it happens.
